On the way to Ravinia Festival for a concert, cicadas were dive-bombing the windshield on the tri-state, and we wondered if the lawn would be infested and their noise would drown out the music. But the park was quiet and the cicadas minded their manners with the rest of the crowd so that Vivaldi's Four Seasons could be heard by everyone.
The weather was perfect for a picnic and concert and the eight of us enjoyed a spread that could have easily served 20. Thanks for coordinating everything, Emily!
