Sunday afternoon, two parks on the lakefront with great playlots (ramps galore which is Douwe's favorite walking challenge) followed by a delicious meal at Mixteco Grill on Montrose and Ashland.
Tuesday morning, a trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo with three aunts and four cousins. Our first animal sighting was a mother duck who was taking her six ducklings on a tour of the zoo.
On Thursday we had to stay home to watch our backyard fence get replaced.
Friday morning, a visit with Mica and Meghan, including a trip to an indoor soccer field with inflatables, balls everywhere and lots of turf to run around on.
Saturday morning, an excursion to the Hyde Park Garden Fair for a few interesting plants for our yard, followed by another trip with Daddy to Lincoln Park Zoo (mom got dropped off for some shopping.)

Looks like you've had some awesome adventures this spring!
I was just online a few hours ago looking at all of the free festivals that are in Chicago this summer and decided that I need to be better about getting into the city! :-)
